Они сказали, что было пророчество. Ганн: А что вы знаете о Братстве Лютых? (Fell Brethren)? Аманда: Ну, они религиозные люди. В смысле - по-своему религиозны, а не (показывает пальцем наверх) божественно религиозны. Они всегда помогают. Приносят мне коктейли и специальные витамины. Ангел: Вы понимаете, что они демоны. Аманда: Ага. Они этого не скрывали. ********************************** Хармони (заговорщическим тоном): Не волнуйтесь. Он настоящий снежный человек. Он сломает ее как беременную тростинку. Члены Братства Лютых советуются между собой на демонском языке и успокаиваются. Брат №1 поднимает палец Брат №1: Я попробую органическую колу. ********************************** Конференц-зал ВиХ, день - сегодня Ганн сидит за длинным столом. Ганн: Не делайте этого. Ангел: Ганн... Аманда моргает, она явно удивлена. Аманда: Но... разве вы не те, кто должен говорить мне, что я поступаю правильно? Ганн: Да... но мы не те парни. Ангел безуспешно пытается прояснить ситуацию Ангел: Мы те парни. Но... мы не те. Мы... Громкий звонок. Голос Лорна в трубке: Лорн: Ангельские ушки, это Тайный демон, прием... Ангел прикрывает телефон ладонью. Мы слышим неразборчивое бормотание Лорна. Аманда хмурится, но возвращается к своей теме. Аманда: Слушайте, я уже говорила об этом, поверьте мне. Я знаю, что это выглядит нехорошо - когда женщина отдает своего еще не рожденного ребенка оккультному клану... Ангел: Извините... Торопливо отключает телефон и убирает его. Ангел: Продолжайте. Аманда: Понимаете... вся их нация уверена, что мой ребенок - их новый... ну, как это.. далай-лама... Они будут преклоняться перед ним. О нем будут заботиться лучше, чем сможем позаботиться мы. Камера опускается, показывая Лорна (в шляпе и темных очках), читающего журнал в кресле. Он следит глазами за Иллирией, и как только она исчезает из вида, он встает, говоря в телефон: Лорн: Синяя птичка в полете... Лорн следует за Иллирией, делая вид, что просто прогуливается. Камера панорамирует с него на демонов из Братства Лютых, стоящих неподалеку от кабинета Ангела и раздраженно переговаривающихся на демонском языке. Из кабинета выходит Хармони. Хармони: Окей, Ангелу потребуется еще несколько минут. Могу я предложить вам выпить? Кофе? Чай? (пожимает плечами) Есть кровь... Брат №1: Что он делает там со Священным Сосудом? Хармони (игнорируя его вопрос): Могу также предложить широкий выбор органических вариантов кока-колы. Глава Братства: Мисс. У братства деликатные отношения с Сосудом. Если она представляет собой проблему, мы сами... Хармони: Поверьте, Ангел позаботится обо всем. Знаете, что он сейчас делает? Они смотрят на нее скептически, и она продолжает выкручиваться. Хармони: Я уверена, что он… знаете… вбивает ей в голову... сеет семена страха... Камера снова следует за Иллирией, которая игнорирует Лорна. Лорн: Итак, Лири... Когда же ты меня заметила? Ассистент юриста выкладывает экземпляры контракта Глава братства: Да. Ты чувствуешь давление? Трудно дышать? (Аманда кивает) Это нормально. Ты принимаешь черное снадобье, которое мы тебе присылаем? Ангел: Мы можем начинать. Глава Братства: Хорошо. Ганн озабоченно смотрит на них и снова углубляется в поверхностное чтение контракта, пропуская мелкий шрифт. Глава клана подписывает все три контракта. Передает их Ангелу. Тот переглядывается с Ганном, который снова углубляется в контракт. Ангел подписывает. Глава Братства помогает Аманде сесть в кресло, чтобы она подписала контракт. Чешуйчатая рука протягивает Аманде ручку. Она берет, чтобы подписать... Ганн: Минутку... "Гордобэк"? Глава Братства: "Гордобах". (Аманде) Просто подпишите здесь, мамочка. Ганн встает и подходит к ним, читая на ходу. Ганн: Нет, подождите. Я хотел бы прояснить этот пункт. "Дитя будет почитаться, за ним будут ухаживать и держать на священной диете из ягод, мяса панды и священной мочи..." Аманда бросает сконфуженный взгляд на Главу Братства. Ганн: А по достижении 13-летия он будет подготовлен к ритуалу "Гордобах". Аманда: Это что-то вроде бар-мицвы? Глава Братства (неубедительно): Ну, ему поднесут подарки... Ганн: Это ритуальное жертвоприношение, Аманда. Что-то вроде четвертования, только умноженное на десять. Глава Братства смотрит на него с яростью. Глава Братства: Чей ты юрист?!! Ангел встает. Ангел: Ганн! Подойди сюда. Но все уже смотрят на Иллирию, которая подходит а Ангелу сзади. Ангел оборачивается. Иллирия: Мне нужно говорить с тобой. Ангел: Я сейчас очень занят. Иллирия: Тогда я избавлю тебя от этого. Глава Братства: А это еще кто такая? Иллирия отступает от Ангела и готовится сражаться с Главой Братства. Ангел (устало): Да уж, отлично... послушайте... Вестибюль ВиХ, день - сегодня Лорн стоит у двери, лихорадочно шепча в телефон. Лорн: Ты копируешь... вообще?!! Конец связи! Дверь открывается. Мимо Лорна проходят Ангел и Иллирия.
Что-то я понимаю, что я ничего не понимаю. Сначала, еще когда читала оригинал, создалось впечатление, что кусочки перепутаны местами, потом мне показалось, что это очередное заклинание - Лорн с телефоном вдруг напомнил его же комментарии в Spin the Bottle, далее выяснилось, что будут флэшбеки и тут я поняла, что они могут играть со временем, учитывая наличие Иллири в кадре, ведь она уже демонстрировала свои способности замедления временного потока, так почему бы ей не менять события местами по своему усмотрению.. А тут еще жертвоприношения и ритуальные дети - это всегда не к добру!!
VasquezE, как же ты все таки оперативно переводишь. Спасибо тебе большое. Как все запутанно. А мне интересно. Что теперь хочет Иллария. И что она вообще там делает? Решила поработать за команду?
Turns out that this episode may not be as lighthearted as I originally expected. It's appears that it's going to be another Illyria-centric episode, where things start going very wrong for her. Fred's body can't contain Illyria's energy, it's just too fragile. As the energy corrupts her, Illyria starts shifting in and out of this dimension. Angel goes after her, finding himself in a number of different realities. In these realities, Illyria kills various members of 'Angel Investigations' (not sure if it's someone other than Fred who dies, or if she kills them after arriving in the dimensions). Wesley finds a way to keep the energy from literally blowing Illyria apart, but in doing so, he also brings more of Fred's personality to the forefront.
Just a guess, but I'm thinking that what Wesley does is merge the various alternate reality versions of Fred and Fred/Illyria into one being. Not only making the 'shell' more complete, but mixing more of Fred into Illyria. In the post to follow this one, I think we'll see some of the effects of this.

Upon returning to the present, Illyria plans to murder everyone before they’re able to attack her. To save everyone’s lives, Angel (David Boreanaz) goes into the past with Illyria to alter the course of events. David Boreanaz’s wife, Jaime Bergman guest stars. Alexis Denisof, J. August Richards, James Marsters, Andy Hallett and Mercedes McNab also star. The episode was written by Ben Edlund and directed by Vern Gillum

Crew Call Report Something strange is afoot in the offices of Wolfram & Hart, and Krevlorneswath of the Deathwok Clan - alias Lorne - is on the case. Bright-green and dressed in a stylish, purple suit and alarming, polka-dotted shirt, you might fear Lorne lacks adequate camouflage as he tails the world-threatening super-demon Illyria. You would be mistaken.
For today, as he waits for his quarry in the lobby of Wolfram & Hart, feigning interest in a newspaper, Lorne is hiding behind... a plant.
"Bluebird is in flight," he says, into a hidden microphone. He stands up, nonchalently turcks the paper under one arm, and with a cautious, measured pace, follows Illyria out of the lobby...
After he's finished rehearsing the scene, Andy Hallett, who plays Lorne, hurries over to us and extends his green-painted hand in a rush of energy and enthusiasm. Angel's cancellation was announced to its cast and crew just weeks ago, but one could never tell from Hallett's demeanour.
"Hi guys. I've been going since one o'clock. It was just this one scene that I was in today. My line was at the top of the scene, and they're shooting it in one long shot with a steady camera... They call that a 'one-er'"
Hallett proceeds to explain a little of the plot of this episode [the 19th of this season, dubbed "Time Bomb"], "Angel assigns me to go undercover, like a private eye. That's why I was tucked into that plant. I'm sure you can barely even see me in that plant, especially with this shirt that I have on." Hallett laughs, pointing to his polka dots.
"So I'm on Illyria's tail. She's wreaking havoc, and the gang here doesn't really know how to take her. Of course, she's in Fred's shell, so it's a weird thing because you look at her, and of course we're seeing Fred. We realise that Illyria still thinks she's God of the entire world, and she thinks we're the little peons. It's quite a different character for Amy Acker, I will say that. The funniest thing... just watching her a minute ago, we would come out of that scene, I would follow her out behing the stage there, and I was doing this little walk, which [make-up supervisor] Dayne [Johnson] refers to as the 'Host Shuffle'. I was walking back there and Amy - you know how she stands as Illyria, her movements are so stiff - she starts to imitate the Host Shuffle as Illyria. That cracked me up...!
"I just love talking with her. She and Alexis [Denisof] will do this constantly. They'll repeat... If I say a line a certain way, they'll just go wild with it. Last week, it was the word 'goldmine'. I evidently said it with a little bit of a twang, 'Oh, it's a goldmine.' So Amy will always repeat stuff. She seems like this innocent little angel."
So Amy's not as shy as she seems?
"My ass," says Hallett. "She has a great sense of humour and she is tremendously witty, very funny. She also has a mouth like a sailor."
Director Vern Gillum suddenly calls Hallett back to shoot the scene, and he promises us we'll talk later. As Hallett resumes his position, I notice he's joined not only by Amy, but also by a trio of robed demons and Mercedes McNab, who plays Harmony, Angel's vampire secretary.
As they prepare to shoot, I check out the scenery. Like most television sets, Wolfram & Hart, located on Stage 5 of the Paramount Studios lot, is smaller than it appears on TV. But by US television standards, it's still pretty big, consisting not only of the law firm's lobby, but of various offices and conference rooms, all of which, tonight, feature a bright backdrop to their windows, to simulate daylight.
While the crew continues to set up the shot, I decide to get a better look at the proceedings and head over to "video village" - lawyer Charles Gunn's office, so dubbed tonight because of the video monitors filling it. I take note of some of the office's details: toy robots are everywhere, and a couple of kung-fu movie posters adorn the walls. Producer Ben Edlund, this episode's writer, sits alongside director Vern Gillum, both of them carefully observing a pair of monitors. The scene continues to play out - Lorne and Illyria have left the shot and the Steadicam's moved over to Harmony as she speaks to the Fell demons. The demons believe Illyria, whom they call "the Holy Vessel", is in Angel's office, and wish to know why. Harmony offers them some organic cola.
Edlund notices me, says hello, and cheerfully reveals some more of the episode's story. "This is where Illyria kind of takes her first hit in this world. The story's about her and her powers. She's got a human body and this tremendously powerful demonic essence inside it, and the body's starting to crack apart because there's so much power in there. Actually it gets to a Slaughterhouse-Five place - she starts living time out of sequence because the powers are time-related.
"It makes superhero logic," he adds, displaying the same sly wit we found in his scripts. "I checked it out on the computer. It's fine."
A crew member enters video village with a question: the extras playing lawyers are confused about how they should react to Illyria's presence. Edlund informs him that they notice Illyria but don't stop whatever they are doing, since they're used to seeing all manner of demons at Wolfram & Hart.
When the next take commences, Edlund is busy again watching the monitors. Fortunately, Hallett has finished his part in the scene, so I catch up with him and head back to his trailer so he can take off his make-up.
Outside the make-up trailer, I run into Amy Acker, who's also finished for the night, and has abandoned Illyria's blue tresses and skin-tight bodysuit for something Fred might wear. When I ask her how she enjoys her new character, Acker sounds very Fred-like in person. But her response is bittersweet.
"It's fun. It's like 180 degrees different from Fred, so it's been a nice change. I mean, before we knew we weren't going to have another year, I was sort of excited to have something different to play for a while. And with Joss doing the episode where I died, it sort of seemed appropriate. It was a good ending for Fred... But now it's been fun."

Интересно, что на нее были сайдзы. То есть - проводились пробы. Значит ли это что жена ДБ проходила пробы с остальными претендентками и выиграла роль честно?
Сомневаюсь, сдается мне, дамы, что они специально взяли жену ДБ, обратили на это внимания фанов, те теперь ломают голову, тем самым отвлекаясь от чего-то важного )
Ох, тяжело без саммери. Каким образом Аманда связана с путешествием во времени? Каким образом путешествие Ангела во времени превратит Ганна из юриста в уличного парня? И что еще изменит это путешествие? Цвет глаз Баффи? (*остаточная паранойя*)
As Angel and Hamilton urge Wesley to get rid of Illyria, she suffers a potentially cataclysmic physical breakdown; and Gunn clashes with Angel over the enforcement of an evil demon contract.
As the medieval demon tortures Gunn yet again, Illyria bursts in, grabs the necklace that keeps Gunn there, and pins it on the demon, who then begins to cut out his own heart. Later Illyria and Gunn return through a mystical portal to Angel’s office, where Illyria notes that she retrieved Gunn because he seems important to Wesley. The next day Gunn returns to work, still a bit shaky, and Wes apologizes for stabbing him a few weeks ago. Gunn accepts the apology, saying having his heart cut out day after day has put things in perspective. He notes, though, that Illyria must take some getting used to, and Wes agrees it’s not easy dealing with her “God-King” ego. At the same time, Spike takes another beating from Illyria in the Wolfram and Hart training room. Angel asks him to stop the sessions, since it’s likely she’s training Spike, not the other way around. Then, as they talk, Illyria suffers a sudden pain in her gut, but recovers quickly. A bit later Angel gathers Wes, Spike, and Gunn in his office to say that he doesn’t trust Illyria. Then Hamilton tells them that Illyria has been destroying company assets, and the Senior Partners insist she be removed. A bit later Illyria goes to Wes’ office and accuses him of betraying and trying to kill her when he smashed the Orlon Window. He insists he was just trying to get Fred back. Meanwhile Gunn reviews a new case file, and one of the parties involved — a pregnant woman named Amanda — enters. Three scaly demons follow, and Gunn and Angel learn the demons have come to sign a contract, which would turn over Amanda’s unborn child to the Fell Brethern: a demon cult. Finally, back in Wes’ office, Illyria suffers another cramp and is transported several hours into the future, where Angel urges Wesley to aim a mystical device at her. As he does, she suffers another cramp and winds up back in the training room, where she and Spike re-live their last fight.
A moment later Illyria cramps again and winds up back in Wes’ office where she started. Recalling her glimpse of the future in the training room, though, she accuses Wes of trying to kill her. He has no idea what she’s talking about. Meanwhile Angel and Gunn consult with Amanda. While Gunn tries to find a loophole in Amanda’s contract, Angel tries to talk her into giving up her child to the demons, and asks Gunn to go along until they can figure out their next move. About the same time, Hamilton visits Wesley and makes it clear that the Senior Partners are expecting him to deal with Illyria personally. Wes has no solutions, so Hamilton tells him to look at Illyria’s energy readouts on a low-emanation scanner. Wes calls up the data on his computer, which shows very erratic readings as Illyria moves through the building. Back in Angel’s office, Angel presents the contract to Amanda, but as she’s about to sign it, Gunn questions a clause that calls for her child to become a ritual sacrifice. Before Angel can react, however, Illyria enters and pulls Angel away. She demands to know what he and Wesley have done to her, but then she realizes their actions are still in the future and he has no idea what she’s talking about. After Illyria leaves, Angel consults with Wes, Spike, and Lorne, who say Illyria is on the verge of self-destruction. Wes shows them a mystical hand cannon, which he says could blast her leaking energy into another dimension, killing her. Seeing a monitor indicating Illyria’s back in the training room, they head there, but then don’t see her. Then Spike dusts as Illyria stabs him with a piece of a wooden desk. Wes aims his hand cannon, but Illyria stabs and kills him before he can fire. Then she slams a fist through Lorne, killing him, and cuts off Angel’s head, dusting him too.
Then Illyria cramps again, and winds up a few minutes in the past, talking to Angel in the lobby. Yet another cramp transports both of them in time and space to Wes’ office. As they all register surprise, still another cramp sends Illyria and Angel back to the suburban basement, where Gunn is about to have his heart ripped out by the medieval demon. The demon charges, and after Illyria deflects it, she asks Angel how he’s doing these things to her. He says they’ve been looking for a way to control her. As she reminds him she’s the God-King, she cramps again and they wind up back in the training room, where Wes and Spike are already dead and Illyria is about to swing the axe at Angel. Then he sees his own pile of dust and realizes he too is dead. He asks Illyria how this can be, and she says he’s now a paradox, transported here from earlier in time. Then, as she tries to explain that he’s been caught up in paradoxes for a long time, she’s wracked by more pains and a crack opens in her face, emitting a beam of light. Another spasm rips her apart, and Angel is blown back in a white-hot burst of energy. A moment later Angel, Wes, Spike, and Lorne are once again on their way to find Illyria in the training room. This time, though, when they enter, Angel anticipates Illyria flying at them with the desk shard, shoves Spike out of the way, and takes the hit himself.
Angel pulls the shard out of his chest and tells Illyria that he knows she’s about to explode, but he can’t let it happen because it will destroy his world. Wes says if she lets him use the mystical cannon, it will withdraw the harmful energy from her and let her live in a less powerful form. Illyria says she’d rather be a crater than have as little power as a mere human. She lunges at Wes, but Spike deflects her as she spasms in pain again. Angel gives her another chance to decide, and Wes steps forward with the cannon. Finally she relents, and as the fault line opens in her face, Wes shoots. The cannon opens a black hole, and a pillar of fire streams from Illyria’s chest into it. Then, as the hole closes, Illyria collapses. Later Wes tells Angel that Illyria can no longer stop time or walk through dimensions, but her ego still rages unchecked. Angel asks if Wes is going to stay with her, and Wes says caring for her is something he needs to do. Finally Angel returns to his office, where Gunn and a Fell demon are still fighting over Amanda’s contract. Gunn tries to throw the demon out, but Angel grabs the contract and says Amanda’s baby belongs to the demons. Gunn protests, saying they can win this fight, but Angel says it’s not the one he wants to win. When Gunn asks what he’s doing, Angel says he’s just serving their clients… and then he walks away, leaving Gunn alone.
