"The big problem with Angel is it didn't repeat well," Levin said. "It wasn't growing its audience, but it was a show we loved. We adored that show. It was a really hard decision. Joss Whedon came to me in February and said, 'If you don't think the show is going to come back, I'd rather know it now, so I can end it appropriately.' When we looked at our schedule, with Charmed, 7th Heaven, Gilmore Girls, Angel and Smallville, we realized we had a lot of veteran series. And one of the challenges of any schedule is to let your veterans retire so you can make room for the rookies, like Jack and Bobby and The Mountain. It's a balancing act, and it's not fun. That was a sad day."

After two great years of music making and touring I have decided to dissolve the band Ghost of the Robot. This was not an easy decision to make but one that was thought out thoroughly with consideration to you, the amazing fans and my amazing band mates. There are no bad feelings or creative differences that lead to this decision. I have always given 100% of myself to my craft and I felt that the band and the fans would suffer now that I will be devoting all my time to new film and television projects since “Buffy” and “Angel” are no longer in production. Please know how much I have appreciated everyone’s support of me and of the band. I hope that you will continue to support me in my future film and television projects. This decision will not affect me participating in or attending any conventions. I love the feedback I get from my fans and look forward the next time I see you.

Jordan Levin, CEO of The WB, has left the network. Garth Ancier, who was chairman of the WB, now takes over sole control.
Levin will have a multi-year production deal at WB parent Warner Bros. He was promoted to co-CEO last fall and became CEO when Jamie Kellner retired last May. That would likely leave more than two years left on his contract.
Warner Bros. Entertainment Chairman/CEO Barry Meyer had recently asked Ancier to be sole number one, asking Levin to return to his former post as president of entertainment, but Levin declined.
The WB is coming off a tough year, down by double-digits in some key demos.

In a bombshell shakeup at the WB Network, sources said Jordan Levin is poised to resign his post as chief executive of the network that he has helped shape during the past decade as a senior creative executive. The prospect of Levin's departure caught the television industry by surprise on Monday morning. Levin was promoted to the CEO post at the WB last fall in preparation for the departure of founding chairman and CEO Jamie Kellner, who formally stepped down last month. At the time, WB, Fox and NBC veteran Garth Ancier was brought back to the WB fold as chairman to share Kellner's former duties with Levin. Sources said Levin was expected to segue to a producing deal with Warner Bros.

Актриса Робиа ЛаМорте продает постер Баффи/Энджел (картинка все известная, но ни разу не бывшая постером), а также продает свою открытку с автографом. Постер пока идет за сотню долларов, открытка - за 35. Подробноститут. Видимо, продает не в целях благоворительности.

Продолжаются съемки фильма "Ice Princess"на сей раз сцены будет сниматься в Toronto's Ricoh Coliseum.
"Ice Princess" is the story of a girl named Casey Howard (Trachtenberg) who with the help of her coach, her parents, and the boy who drives the Zamboni machine, can not be stopped from realizing her dream to be a champion figure skater. Stars who will be involved and on site during the shoot include Michelle Trachtenberg, Kim Cattrall and Joan Cusack.
Disney is looking for "extras" to fill the seats of Ricoh Coliseum arena for the duration of this shoot. The information I have says nothing about payment, but does offer free food and parking to anyone interested in doing this. There are also prizes to be won including a 2004 For Focus, several "Big Screen" T.V's, Mtn Bikes, etc.
Doors open at 7am and filming starts a 9am each day. I have no idea how long the filming will take per day, so if you do decide to go, be prepared to stay for a while.
Anyone interested in "appearing" in the film can just show up at Ricoh Coliseum before 7am on any of the above days. Ricoh is located inside the National Trade Center at Exhibition Place, 100 Princes Blvd. Toronto, ON.

In 1992 Sarah won a part in the TV series Swan's Crossing, which lasted only one season but which became the starting point of Sarah's success. Casting agents of the soap All My Children saw her performance on the show. They were impressed by her character's coy and spiteful behaviour and offered her a part on All My Children.
1993, at the age of 16, Sarah was cast as the 23-year-old Kendall Hart, who suddenly turned up in Vine Valley and claimed to be a huge fan of Erica Kane (played by Susan Lucci), the main character of the soap. Erica did not know that Kendall was her daughter, conceived at the age of 14 when Erica was raped, and gave her a job as her assisstant. Kendall's scheme was to turn Erica's life into hell, because Erica had given her away for adoption.
Kendall soon revealed her true identity, which precipitated a crisis for Erica. Because of her jealousy of Erica, she began an affair with Erica's husband, Dimitri. However, she told Erica that Dimitri had raped her. Hereupon Erica suffered from a tremendous shock, because she was confronted with her own unprocessed rape. In a fit caused by her shock she attacked Dimitri with a knife.
Although Kendall lied in the witness stand and claimed that she never said that she had been raped by Dimitri, the truth was soon brought to light and Kendall was put to prison due to her perjury.
While she was in jail, Anton, Dimitri's ward, proposed to her and she accepted. After a while Kendall was approached by Del, an enemy of Erica's, who asked her to help him with his project, a revealing book about Erica. Anton asked Kendall to stop intriguing against Erica. Still, Kendall began to work with Del, and Anton threw her out of the house when he found out about this. Kendall tried to reconcile with Anton, but it was only after he discovered that Dimitri was not his guardian but his father, that he relented.
Soon Kendall returned to Erica's and Dimitri's house. Anyhow, after her plan to disinherit Dimitri backfired, Anton got a divorce, because he had never loved her. Kendall turned to her only friend left, Del. Before long, however, the news that her adoptive father had died reached her and she decided to return to Florida to live with her adoptive mother.
At that point in time, after two years on All My Children, Sarah Michelle Gellar dropped out of the series. In 1995 she had won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Leading Actress in a Drama Series for the part of Kendall Hart.
Soon Sarah moved to Los Angeles and auditioned for a series called Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which would soon become a cult phenomenon.
By the way, Kendall returned to All My Children in 2002. The character is now played by Alicia Minshew.

Ой а что ж так дешево то? )) Кормить то будут? Билет до Лондона можно и по такой же дешевке купить если постараться. Если ты заказываешь заранее, тебе меньше 25 и ты студент. Консульский сбор где-то тысячи полторы рублей плюс гостиница, можно остановиться в хостеле. Тоже по дешевке. Было бы желание. )) Главное что бы визу дали. )) Для этого приглашение нужно, хотя бы на празднование Халлоувина. )) Но честно говоря, для меня вход на это мероприятие слишком «дешевый». Даже если бы я была прямо в Лондоне.

Directed by Darin Ferriola (Soulkeeper), the film — which starts production today — revolves around a lovelorn bachelor who runs an agency that helps guys repair their broken relationships. While working on a case, he ends up falling in love himself (with Alana De La Garza, soon to be seen on WB's new fall soap The Mountain). "It has a very '80s romantic theme to it," Boreanaz says. "I'm going to be doing some dancing, singing... It's going to be a lot of fun." Lorne is gonna be so jealous.

It's a great cause, and now a great director attached to their latest project: Kevin is currently directing advertisements for "Declare Yourself" which urges folks to get out there, vote, and be heard. He's got a ton of great talent on board filming spots already (including Askew vets Affleck, Dushku, and Rock) -- But the biggest news of all might be that, yes, indeed, Jay & Silent Bob will come out of retirement (and onto your television screens) next month to deliver the message to you as well.
We'll let Kevin describe the project to you in his own words:
So all this week, I've been working on Public Service Announcements (aka commercials) for this organization called Declare Yourself. It's a non-partisan group founded by Norman Lear (the man who responsible for "All in the Family", "Maude", "Good Times", "The Jeffersons" and so many other legendary tv shows) that, like "Rock the Vote" encourages people to register and be heard. Declare Yourself and Comedy Central have teamed up to produce a series of ads that are so simple even I could direct them. So that's what I did.
The concept is, essentially, "In the time it's taken you to watch this, you could've been online, finding out how to register to vote." Those helping us convey this message have been Zach Braff, Ray Romano, Adam Brody, Wanda Sykes, Larry David, Jeff Garlin, and Sarah Silverman. Today, we shoot Ben Affleck, Eliza Dushku, and a pair of stoners who're coming out of semi-retirement for the cause. Then, I fly to NYC and shoot Amy Poehler, Chris Rock, Chris Walken and David Cross.
They start airing in July. Pretty funny stuff. Keep an eye out for 'em.
